PIKE CONSTRUCTION & LABELLA ASSOCIATES RECEIVE 2026 CSI ROCHESTER DESIGN BUILD AWARD FOR WEST HERR PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
Rochester, NY (05/07/2026) – The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is a technical organization that works to organize, standardize and communicate construction information. Their mission is to advance building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance. CSI is unique in that it facilitates an exchange of information between all participants in the construction process – a benefit not found in one-discipline organizations.
Annually, the CSI Rochester Chapter presents Outstanding Project Design Awards in local design and collaboration. The awards program is open to project owners, architects, engineers, product representatives, constructors and construction support companies, for projects completed in the past eighteen months.
The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) is pleased to congratulate Pike Construction Services and LaBella Associates on receiving the CSI Rochester, NY Chapter 2026 Design-Build Award for the West Herr Performing Arts Center restoration and renovation project! This transformative, multi-phase renovation project enhanced accessibility, improved the patron experience, and preserved one of Rochester’s most iconic cultural landmarks. Through a true collaborative design-build partnership with Rochester Broadway Theatre League, the integrated teams at Pike and LaBella worked together to deliver thoughtful improvements that will serve the community for years to come.

The goal of the CSI awards is to highlight the role of how exemplary communication can positively influence the process, quality and successful outcome of a project. The awards program is unique because it provides a platform for the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry to showcase the work of our members in the construction process. This includes communicating information of existing and new industry products, documenting solutions and implementing them in the construction process.
